MiniSplitPlus.com ships orders using the carrier and service best suited to the size, weight, destination, and type of equipment ordered. Many mini-split systems, condensers, air handlers, and other oversized products ship by common carrier freight rather than standard parcel service.
Processing & Transit Times
Any processing, ship-out, or transit time shown on the website is stated in business days unless otherwise noted. Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or carrier-observed holidays. Estimated dates are not guaranteed delivery appointments and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, product availability, or other circumstances outside our control.
Common Carrier Freight Deliveries
Freight deliveries are generally made to the delivery address provided with the order. The carrier may contact the customer to arrange a delivery appointment. The customer is responsible for providing a valid daytime telephone number and for being available to receive the shipment when required.
Unless a specific service is included in the order, freight delivery does not automatically include inside delivery, installation, placement, unpacking, or other special handling. Liftgate or other accessorial services may be subject to additional charges when requested or required.
Inspect Your Shipment Before Signing
Customers must inspect freight shipments before signing the carrier delivery receipt. Check cartons, pallets, equipment cabinets, and packaging for visible damage, punctures, crushing, tears, dents, missing pieces, or signs that the shipment has been mishandled.
If damage or shortage is visible, clearly note it on the carrier delivery receipt before signing. Photographs of the shipment and packaging should be taken whenever possible. Signing a freight receipt without noting visible damage may limit the ability to pursue a freight claim.
Refused, Missed, or Undeliverable Freight
If a customer refuses a shipment for reasons other than documented shipping damage or fails to accept a scheduled delivery, the carrier may assess redelivery, storage, address correction, reconsignment, return freight, or other accessorial charges. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and may be charged to the payment method used for the order where permitted.
Orders returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, an unavailable recipient, refusal of a shipment, or failure to arrange delivery are not considered carrier-damage returns.
Shipping Damage & Shortages
Please contact MiniSplitPlus.com promptly if an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or with the wrong item. Keep all packaging, cartons, pallets, labels, and damaged merchandise until the matter has been resolved. Do not discard packaging or install damaged equipment while a freight claim is being reviewed.
Shipping Charges
Shipping and freight charges are taxable where required by applicable law. Any additional carrier services requested after an order has shipped may result in additional charges.
